GAO Volunteer Opportunities
GAO has a wide range of volunteer opportunities toward which you may enjoy giving some time. If you have administrative or technical skills, like advertising/publicity, accounting, internet, public speaking, etc., GAO would appreciate your participation. You may prefer to assist with the adoption trailer at a public event where we showcase animals for adoption. If you enjoy hands-on involvement with the animals, The Georgetown Animal Shelter partners with Petsmart to display animals available for adoption. Animal Shelter Volunteer Opportunities
At the Georgetown Animal Shelter, there are numerous opportunities for volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, call the Shelter (512) 930-3592 to learn more. You can volunteer at whatever level you wish, giving whatever time you have available, whenever you can, and doing the type of tasks you enjoy.
